About Me
Welcome!
My name is Guanchen Liu, and I am a combat/technical designer with three years of experience at Amazon Games on New World. I specialize in designing and implementing engaging combat encounters that challenge and immerse players.
I have solid expertise in behavior trees, combat AI logic, balance tuning, and encounter design, along with hands-on implementation skills in both Unreal Engine and proprietary engines. My background also includes gameplay and engine programming in JavaScript, C#, and C++, as well as experience with Unity and Cocos.
While my primary focus is on combat systems, I maintain working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Maya—skills that enable me to collaborate more effectively with artists and other disciplines.
